Mogador appears to have returned to racing in slick form this time and remains outright $3.10 favourite in 2015 Blue Sapphire Stakes betting markets at [Ladbrokes] despite drifting from an opening quote of $3.

One of the many talented three-year-olds currently in work for John O’Shea and Godolphin Australia, Mogador debuted in autumn for second behind stable mate Exosphere in the Valentines Day Maiden Plate (1000m) on February 14th before placing a credible fourth in the Group 2 Skyline Stakes (1200m).

Returning in winter for success in the TAB Place Multi Maiden Plate (1100m), the Lonhro colt delivered a talented field defeat in the Pro-Ride BM75 (1000m) on September 23rd and is a leading chance for a first three finish on Wednesday.

Kinglike has more than stamped his claims as a colt to follow through a short but impressive racing career so far, and arguably offers punters the best value for money at current $3.30 Blue Sapphire Stakes odds for success.

Kinglike debuted to racing for second behind Bassett in the Listen, Learn, Speak 2.y.o Plate (1100m) on May 16th, and was returned to the paddock after posting a maiden win in the Charter Keck Cramer Handicap (1200m) a fortnight later.

Having delivered a talented field defeat in the Group 2 Danehill Stakes (1200m) on September 12th, the Exceed And Excel colt could very well receive the run of the race from the rails draw in the 2015 Blue Sapphire Stakes and will be partnered by last start hoop Glen Boss.

Keen Array opened at $3.20 Blue Sapphire odds but is yet to herald much interest from punters and had drifted onto the second line of betting alongside Kinglike at a quote of $3.30.

Keen Array failed to make much of an impact through a short debut campaign in autumn and was returned to the paddock after placing thirteenth in the Vobis Gold Rush (1000m) in Bendigo on March 21st.

Having clearly taken huge benefit from his time away from racing, the Bel Esprit gelding won each of his first two starts upon resuming this time; running second to Bassett in the Troa National Jockeys Trust Plate (1100m) before returning to winning form in the William Hill Plate (1200m) at Moonee Valley on October 2nd.

Damien Lane has been confirmed to take the ride on the three-year-old, who will leave from barrier 5 in the Blue Sapphire Stakes.

Raphael’s Cat ($9) interestingly figures as the only other runner currently available at Blue Sapphire Stakes odds of less than $10.
